If you were a client of investment advisor Brian Verbeek (“Verbeek”) who transferred funds from your Registered Retirement Plans to purchase shares in certain Canadian Controlled Private Corporations (“CCPCs”), and Rene Beauregard wrote letters and signed documents certifying the CCPCs were qualified investments under the Income Tax Act for locked-in retirement savings, and you have not opted out of this lawsuit, you are a member of the Beauregard Subclass.
The Ontario Superior Court of Justice has approved a Settlement Agreement between the Beauregard Representative Plaintiff (Jean Duval) on behalf of the Beauregard Subclass and Beauregard in this class action lawsuit.

The Beauregard Representative Plaintiff and Beauregard have agreed to settle the lawsuit.
